Publish date: 2024-04-22

Steve-O bared it all last month when he launched his own X-rated website Steve-O-Raw.

And the 47-year-old Jackass star went nude again for the March issue of Men's Health after telling that magazine that he was warned by his publicist to 'not take his d**k out' in front of the photography team.

'For all of the publicist's concerns, like, "Oh, be careful, you're on the record, they're always going to be super nice, and then they're just gonna write . . . ." And I was like, "Cool, man. Great. There's absolutely nothing that I intend to try to hide,"' Steve-O said.

Steve-O told Men's Health that he and his fellow Jackass cast members were able to have successful careers by enabling viewers to indulge in 'everyday sadism' – in which they derive pleasure from the pain of others.

'We make sure that you don't have to feel bad about your everyday sadism, because we're inviting you to enjoy it,' he told the media outlet.

'So it's completely permissible to enjoy it, because it's understood that the reward is your attention; you're actually being generous when you enjoy it.'

The television personality admitted that he sometimes felt inferior to his co-stars and his low self-esteem led him to perform more dangerous stunts.

He said, 'These guys just had this charisma on camera, and they could make anything funny without risking their bodies or making some huge thing.

'[Chris] Pontius is that way. He's just a genius. For them it came more natural; they're just talented. I feel like to get footage and to get screen time, I always had to work harder.'

The former circus clown also explained why he would describe the Jackass franchise as 'wholesome.'

'I know that it's counterintuitive to describe Jackass as something that's wholesome, but I feel strongly that it is. . . .

'There's just nothing mean or dark,' he added.

Next month, he is embarking on his comedy tour The Bucket List, which will kick off at the Ector Theater in Odessa, Texas.

'This whole show is all about existential panic, this race against the clock to do the most spectacularly dumb shit possible before it becomes creepy to watch,' Steve-O told Men's Health.

The stunt man also shared some future plans which include a podcast, merchandise, an animal sanctuary eco-lodge and possibly a tattoo shop.

'I'm not that great at giving tattoos, but I'm shockingly better than you would imagine,' Steve-O said.

'And the reality is there's pretty crazy demand for a shitty tattoo from Steve-O. I'm mindful about thinking of ways to support myself without being an attention whore.'
